Darren Waller was born in Landover, Maryland on September 13, 1992, As of now he is 30 years old. The young player first came into the NFL at the age of 22 and since then he has shown no sign of slowing down.

He is the great-grandson of composer and great pianist Fats Waller. Darren Waller also creates Hip-Hop music. Before his journey in the NFL began, Waller played college football with the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets football team as a wide receiver at Georgia Institute of Technology. He redshirted his freshman year in 2011 and he announced that he would not be participating in his senior year and instead would be entering the NFL draft of 2015.

Waller weighs around 111 kg and has a height of 6 feet 6 inches, Waller had a combination of strength and agility but this was not the case Waller had an alcohol addiction since he was 16 years old and began using a lot of cocaine he was spending $100 on pills per day. But Waller overcame his addiction by going to a rehabilitation program. Darren founded a foundation namely Darren Waller Foundation in 2020 which helps youth avoid and overcome addiction to drugs and alcohol and supports youth and their families during their recovery and treatment journey and is married to Kelsey Christine Plum.

Darren Waller plays for the New York Giants as a tight end in the National Football League. Waller's professional career started in 2014 when he was chosen by the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL draft of 2015.

In 2015 after joining the Baltimore Ravens he signed a deal with them for four years of worth $2.39 million. In the 2015 season, Waller was unfortunately placed on the injured reserve list which ended the following season for him, and he was also suspended for the first four games in the 2016 season. In 2017 Waller was again suspended for one year without giving pay. In 2018 he was signed by the Oakland Raiders and played in four games and in those following games he recorded six receptions for 75 yards.

In the 2019 season, he signed a new contract extension deal for three years with the Raiders and ranked 99th by his fellow teammates on the NFL Top 100 Players of 2020. In the 2021 season, he played 11 games and was ranked 58th by his fellow teammates on the NFL Top 100 Players of 2022. In 2022 he signed a new contract extension deal with the Raiders for three years worth $51 million. In 2023 Waller was traded to the New York Giants and is currently still with them.
