American football wide receiver David James Moore plays for the Carolina Panthers as of November 2024. The Seattle Seahawks drafted him as the 226th overall pick in the seventh round of the 2017 NFL Draft. Moore started his first game in the NFL in the 2018 season in Week 4. After appearing in 47 games over four seasons and recording 78 receptions, Moore was traded to the Carolina Panthers for his first stint in 2021.

David Moore attended East Central University in Ada, Ohio, playing for the Tigers from 2013 to 2015. In his freshman year, Moore appeared in eight games. He finished with 12 receptions for 275 yards while scoring two touchdowns. Moore became a regular in 2014 appearing in 11 games that season. He finished with 33 receptions for 525 yards scoring 10 touchdowns. Moore also earned All-GAC Honorable Mention honours as a wide receiver.

Moore had a breakout season in 2015 recording his first and only 1000-receiving yards season. Moore finished the 2015 season with 55 receptions for 1,097 yards scoring 13 touchdowns. He was the first ECU wide receiver to record 1000 yards in a single season. In his final year of college, Moore competed in 11 games recording 57 receptions for 878 yards and 10 touchdowns. He finished his college career appearing in 41 games and recording 157 receptions for 2,775 yards and 35 touchdowns.

David Moore attended Gainesville High School in Texas. As a senior, Moore had 40 catches for 700 yards. He accumulated 12 total touchdowns and had an average of 17.5 yards per catch.
