David Njoku's injury update
According to reports, David Njoku is officially week to week and coach Kevin Stefanski has ruled out his Pro Bowl TE for the foreseeable future.
Njoku will likely miss at least a couple of games due to the high ankle sprain which did not look great on Sunday night as he left the stadium in a walking boot. The Browns will need backup TE Jordan Akins to step up in Njoku's absence. In the coming weeks, Cleveland will face the Jacksonville Jaguars, New York Giants, Las Vegas Raiders and Washington Commanders.
What's next for David Njoku and the Cleveland Browns?
David Njoku will undergo treatment for his ankle. He is a key part of the Browns' offense, so their fans should hope for a speedy recovery.
The Cleveland Browns suffered a 33-17 loss in Week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys, as Deshaun Watson struggled in the game. Watson was sacked six times, intercepted twice and only recorded 169 yards in just his 13th game for the Browns since signing a $230 million fully guaranteed contract in 2022.
The Browns will travel to Jacksonville to face the Jaguars in Week 2. The Jaguars will also look to bounce back after losing to the Miami Dolphins and add to the misery of Kevin Stefanski's team.
