Dawson Alan Knox is an American football tight end for the Buffalo Bills, as of the 2024 NFL season. The Bills selected him as the 96th overall pick in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He has remained with the same team throughout his NFL career, amassing more than 170 receptions for over 1,900 receiving yards by the end of the 2023 season. His best years came in 2021 and 2022 when he was able to amass more than 500 receiving yards in both of those seasons. The 2022 Pro Bowl honoree played football for the Ole Miss Rebels at the collegiate level, representing the University of Mississippi from 2015 to 2018.

Over his four-season stint at Ole Miss, he recorded 39 receptions for 605 receiving yards, according to Sports Reference. Notably, Knox was named to the 2018 Preseason All-SEC Third Team by Phil Steele. He was born to David and Rachel Knox in Brentwood, Tennessee. Growing up, he initially attended St. Paul Christian Academy, before transferring to Brentwood Academy in Brentwood. During high school, he played football as both a wide receiver and quarterback.
