Their teams already met in the opening week of this season and have since struggled to win games. Now. their battle extends to the fantasy realm. So, who has the better value between them?

Is De'Von Achane a good fantasy pick in Week 7?

After learning behind eventual surprise Pro Bowler Raheem Mostert as a rookie, De'Von Achane is now the lead RB for the Miami Dolphins. But to say he has underwhelmed is a fair assessment.

In five games, he has had just 183 yards and a single touchdown on 56 carries, as opposing defenses have stymied Mike McDaniel's once-prolific offense. Good news, however, may come on the team's return from their bye week.

The Indianapolis Colts have one of the more anonymous defenses in the NFL, featuring only two Pro Bowlers: defensive tackle DeForest Buckner and cornerback Kenny Moore. Linebacking duo Zaire Franklin and EJ Speed may be fast-rising, but they also have yet to truly establish themselves as dominators in the mold of Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis.

Is Tank Bigsby a good fantasy pick in Week 7?

Tank Bigsby is once again playing backup to Travis Etienne this season, and so far, he has been outshining his peer. In six games, he has had 297 yards on 41 carries and two touchdowns, most of them coming in the Jacksonville Jaguars' only win so far - against the Colts.

He has thus been a rare bright spot for a struggling team, and he should have another opportunity to shine this week. The New England Patriots also have a shallow defense with just two noteworthy players, defensive backs Christian Gonzalez and Kyle Dugger. When it comes to run stoppers, though, that department is sorely lacking in star power.

The Sportskeeda Start/Sit Optimizer has a fairly close battle in this one, but ultimately, Bigsby proves himself to be the better choice. He already has a hundred-yard game and one more touchdown than his counterpart, and with Etienne also at over 200 yards, he figures to be a future cornerstone, whether it be in Duval or elsewhere.

As for Achane, he should also have a bright future. However, the presence of veteran Raheem Mostert and rookie Jaylen Wright may make that notion harder to realize than usual.
