DeAndre Hopkins bounced back in fantasy football last year during his first season with the Tennessee Titans. He avoided a shortened season for the first time in the past three years and returned to the top 25 wide receivers in total fantasy points scored.
Now entering his second year with the Titans, he will look to build off of his performance. Here's where his fantasy outlook currently stands:

Reliable volume has been a staple in DeAndre Hopkins' success in fantasy football during his career. In each of his past eight seasons, where he played more than 10 games, he has exceeded 120 targets. This includes last year's first season with the Tennessee Titans.
Hopkins proved last year that even beyond 30 years old, he can still handle a massive workload and be productive. While the Titans added Calvin Ridley this year, they also moved on from Derrick Henry.
This means that the added target competition could be negated by potentially more passing attempts. This gives Hopkins a similar fantasy outlook this season as he had last year.
DeAndre Hopkins 2024 fantasy outlook, ADP and 2023 stats
Hopkins' solid 2023 season included 75 receptions on 137 targets for 1,057 yards and seven touchdowns on his way to a WR22 finish in fantasy football. He did so despite Henry taking on his typically massive workload.
With him off the roster, Hopkins could be even more involved in the offense this season, especially if he can hang onto the WR1 role ahead of Ridley, as expected.
According to his current ADP, the veteran ranks as the WR43 and 103rd overall player in fantasy drafts for the season. He could be a steal at this position, given that he has finished among the top 30 wide receivers in each of the last eight seasons in which he has appeared in more than 10 games.
Is DeAndre Hopkins a good pick in fantasy football this year?
One of the most encouraging trends that point towards Hopkins potentially having success during the 2024 fantasy football season is that he got better as last year progressed. Of his six weekly finishes among the top 15 wide receivers, four of them came in the final eight weeks of the 2023 season.
This suggests that Hopkins became more comfortable in the Titans' offense and developed chemistry with quarterback Will Levis.
With a full offseason to improve this even further, it's reasonable to believe that he could have an even better performance in the 2024 season. He is a strong option at his current ADP.
Where should you draft DeAndre Hopkins this year?
DeAndre Hopkins ranks as the WR43 and 103rd overall player, according to his current ADP. This means that he profiles as a WR4 who can be targeted around the ninth round of most fantasy football drafts.
Considering his situation with the Titans and his long history of proven success, he could be a major sleeper this season.
Sportskeeda's Who Should I Draft tool recommends taking Hopkins in favor of his teammate Calvin Ridley. His season-long projections are superior, though Ridley currently has a much higher ADP at 78th overall.
Hopkins is also the preferred choice over other veterans like Courtland Sutton and Tyler Lockett for the 2024 season.
