Week 3 wasn't very kind on the Tennessee Titans offense as they fell to a heavy 30-14 defeat to the Jordan Love-less Green Bay Packers. Second-year quarterback Will Levis didn't exactly quash any doubts over his abilities but if there was one bright spot for the Titans, it was the fact that DeAndre Hopkins still has what it takes to compete at this level.
Week 4 waiver wire pickups: DeAndre Hopkins' fantasy outlook
The fact that Hopkins is available in 67% of ESPN leagues and 56% of Yahoo leagues is clearly a sign of fantasy managers panicking over the Titans playmaker's production early on.

Hopkins battled a knee injury to start the season and put up underwhelming numbers. That this Titans offense is still figuring out its identity with sophomore Will Levis under center has also contributed towards Hopkins' lack of production.
After two weeks, Hopkins had two receptions for a total of 17 yards and no touchdowns. Those numbers increased exponentially in Week 3 where he was targeted seven times. He had six catches for 73 yards and a touchdown. What's more, per Rotoballer, he played just 46% of the team's total snaps against the Packers. Those aren't WR2 numbers but you could do a lot worse than Hopkins if you're looking at your bench.
Hopkins' upcoming matchups are also decent chances for him to juice those numbers. Tennessee will go up against Miami, Indianapolis, Buffalo and Detroit over the next four weeks. The Detroit matchup may not be much of an opportunity but the Dolphins, Colts and Bills will likely offer him opportunities to get the offense going.
Betting on this Titans offense to figure it out quickly isn't the most logical route but Hopkins appears to be Will Levis' favored target after an extremely productive outing against the Packers. If he's on the waiver wire in your leagues, you could do a lot worse than Hopkins.
