Deebo Samuel plays as the wide receiver for the San Francisco 49ers in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the 49ers in the second round of the 2019 NFL draft as the 36th overall pick.

Samuels grew up in Inman, South Carolina and was balling out even in his high school days. He attended Chapman High School and was coached by Mark Hodge. Samuels had 166 catches for 2,751 yards and 36 touchdowns and rushed for 133 times, had 898 yards and 13 touchdowns. He could play as a wide receiver and as a running back.

Due to his play, Samuels won the High School Sports Report Class AAA Offensive Player of the Year award and also had the chance to display his ability playing in the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas. For his college career, Deebo chose to commit to the University of South Carolina. He has a successful college career which culminated in First-Team All-SEC and First-Team All-American honors.

Samuels was picked by the 49ers in the NFL draft and has developed into one of the best receivers in the game today. His receiving and rushing ability has primarily contributed to his success. He went from being a three-star recruit to one of the most dynamic receivers in the NFL. Samuels has become one of the most essential pieces for the San Francisco 49ers. Additionally, he has also been selected to the Pro Bowl and the All-First Team once in his career.
