Derrick Lamar Henry Jr. is a professional American football running back for the Baltimore Ravens, as of the 2024 NFL season. The Tennessee Titans drafted Henry with the 45th pick in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft. He led the NFL in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns during the 2019 and 2020 NFL seasons. He rushed for over 2000 yards in the 2020 NFL season becoming the eighth player to achieve the feat and the second from his team. He also received Offensive Player of the Year and First-team All-Pro honors during that season. After seven seasons and 119 appearances for the Titans, Henry signed a two-year contract with the Ravens in 2024. As of Week 18 of the 2024 NFL season, Henry has recorded 11,423 rushing yards and a total of 106 touchdowns, as per Pro Football Reference.

Henry spent his collegiate career playing for the University of Alabama from 2013 to 2015. After being named a starter during his junior season in 2016, he recorded 2219 rushing yards and 28 touchdowns, leading the NCAA in rushing yards, rushing touchdowns, and points scored. After winning the CFP National Championship in 2015, Henry was the recipient of the Heisman Trophy, Maxwell Award, Doak Walker Award, Walter Camp Award and SEC Offensive Player of the Year, as per Crimson Tide's official website.
