Derrick Lamar Henry Jr., popularly known as Derrick Henry, is an American football running back for the Baltimore Ravens, as of the 2024 NFL season. The Tennessee Titans selected him as the 45th overall pick in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft. Following a successful eight-season stint with his former team, the Tennessee Titans, he made a move by joining the Baltimore Ravens, signing a two-year contract in March 2024. Born in Yulee, Florida, he enrolled at Yulee High School, where he played high school football as the running back for the Yulee Hornets. Graduating as a five-star recruit, he committed to play collegiate football for the University of Alabama. He represented the Alabama Crimson Tide from 2013 to 2015 at the collegiate level.
