Derrick Henry continues to be dominant as he enters his 30s. With 1,474 yards and counting in 2024, he is expected to finish second in the rushing chart behind Saquon Barkley.
On Saturday, he and the Baltimore Ravens welcomed the Pittsburgh Steelers with the aim of going level at 10-5. Both teams had undoutedly been the best of the AFC North this season, and a win for either would bolster their chances of clinching the division.
With that being said, how did the multiple-time division champion fare?

Ravens RB Derrick Henry's stats vs. Steelers
Here is how Derrick Henry performed today:
- Rushing attempts: 24
- Rushing yards: 162
- Targets: 2
- Receptions: 2
- Receiving yards: 27
Today marked another dominant day on the field for Derrick Henry, even though he did not reach the endzone once. But he apparently did not need to do so when Lamar Jackson was dominating in the air.
Both the Ravens’ primary tight ends, Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely, each scored a touchdown. And so did wideout Nelson Agholor, who has been mostly overlooked in favor of Zay Flowers, who also hit 100 yards in his own right - on just five catches.
All these exploits were helped by the offensive line, which allowed just one sack - from Alex Highsmith rather than TJ Watt, as has been customary. And the other low point, an interception by Minkah Fitzpatrick on literally the second play of the fourth quarter, was immediately forgotten about on the very next one, when Marlon Humphrey intercepted Russell Wilson and returned the ball to the endzone for six.
Speaking of sacks, the defense also had a dominant day with three sacks. They also forced five punts, three of which were punished with scores on the ensuing drives (the touchdown to Likely and two field goals by Justin Tucker).
The result means that the Ravens are in the playoffs for the third straight season - and they will definitely aim for more: the AFC North title. They have two tries to achieve that: Christmas at the Houston Texans and in the season finale at the Cleveland Browns.
