Deshaun Watson has 1 win and 2 losses in his postseason career as of December 2024.
Derrick Deshaun Watson, commonly known as Deshaun Watson is an American football quarterback for the Cleveland Browns as of 2024. The 6-foot-3 signal caller had an unfortunate start to his pro career after going to Houston Texans with the 12th overall pick in the first round of the 2017 NFL draft. Watson tore his ACL 7 games into his rookie season and missed the rest of the season. However, in his next two seasons, he led Houston to consecutive divisional titles behind his stellar play which saw him pass for more than 8,000 yards in those two years. However, his career year came in 2020, when he passed for 4,823 yards and 33 passing touchdowns (both career-best), but the team finished with an abysmal 4-12 record that season.
However, Watson’s arc took a complete u-turn in 2021. He was surrounded by the off-field controversy after sexual harassment allegations emerged against him. After not playing a single game in 2021, Watson was traded to the Cleveland Browns in 2022. As of December 2024, he has been only able to play in 19 games in 3 seasons due to an injury bug hitting him every season since coming to Cleveland. The three-time pro bowler attended Gainesville High School before committing to Clemson University. The two-time ACC Athlete of the Year also ended Clemson’s three-decade national championship drought after winning a natty in the 2016 season with the Tigers.
