Devin Hester is an American former football wide receiver and return specialist who played for eleven seasons in the National Football League. After spending his first eight seasons with the Chicago Bears from 2006 to 2013, he joined the Atlanta Falcons for two seasons from 2014 to 2015 and then had a brief stint with both the Baltimore Ravens and Seattle Seahawks during the 2016 season. Hester was the 57th overall pick in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft.

Hester was born in Riviera Beach, Florida, on November 4, 1982. At Suncoast High School, he actively participated in football, showcasing his expertise as a cornerback, wide receiver, return specialist, and running back. He graduated with a five-star recruit rating from Rivals.com and committed to playing college football at the University of Miami. As mentioned earlier, Hester had a career spanning eleven seasons. He concluded his overall regular-season career with 255 receptions for over 3,300 receiving yards and 16 receiving touchdowns. Additionally, he recorded over 10,000 career yards returning punts and kickoffs. On December 12, 2017, he officially announced his retirement from the NFL.

· He holds the record for the most non-offensive touchdowns with 20 throughout his career.

· He holds the record for the most career kickoff and punt return touchdowns with 19.

· He holds the record for the most career punt return touchdowns with 14.

· He holds the record for the most punt return touchdowns (4) and combined return touchdowns (6) in a season (2007).

· He holds the record for scoring the fastest touchdown in Super Bowl history, achieving it in just 14 seconds.

· He achieved six non-offensive touchdowns in a season twice in 2006 and 2007.

Hester also holds several Chicago Bears franchise records, including most punt returns in a lifetime (264), most punt return yards in a lifetime (3,241 yards), most punt return yards in a season (651 yards in 2007), and most punt return yards in a single game (152 yards at Arizona Cardinals on October 16, 2006).

Additionally, he holds a few more Chicago Bears franchise records:

· He has the most punt return touchdowns in team history with 13.

· He also holds the record for the most kickoff returns with 222 and the most kickoff return yards with 5,510 yards in his career with the Bears.

· He has recorded the most combined return yards (a total of 8,751) over his eight-season stint with the Bears.

· Hester has scored a total of 18 combined return touchdowns, which is the most in team history
