DeVonta Smith and Garrett Wilson are the wide receivers for the Philadelphia Eagles and the New York Jets, respectively. Smith is competing in his second season in the NFL, while Wilson is in his rookie campaign. Both players haven't missed any games this season and are doing particularly well for their teams.
The New York Jets were having a fantastic season and won a key 20-17 game against the Buffalo Bills in Week 9. Wilson led the team in receiving yards (92 yards) on eight grabs from nine targets. The Jets met the Patriots again in Week 11 (after losing to them in Week 8). Last week's outcome was poor for the Jets, who lost 3-10 and fell to the bottom of the AFC East. Wilson had two catches for 12 yards on three targets in a disappointing performance.

After eight consecutive wins this season, the Philadelphia Eagles lost their first game in Week 10 against the Washington Commanders. In Week 11, they defeated the Indianapolis Colts and will look to continue winning when they face the Green Bay Packers this Sunday.
DeVonta Smith has started every game for the Eagles and has been impressive this season. In the last three games, he has 14 receptions on 19 targets for 139 yards.
Both players look healthy and will play in Week 12. We would suggest that you start with DeVonta Smith in the upcoming week. Here's why.
Why DeVonta Smith is a better fantasy pick in Week 12 than Garrett Wilson
DeVonta Smith has started in all ten games and has recorded 52 receptions on 70 targets for 559 yards while scoring three touchdowns. He has had one 100+ yard game in Week 3 against the Washington Commanders.
The Eagles will face the Green Bay Packers, who have struggled offensively this season. Smith has every chance to find the endzone in this game and he should be one of your starting WRs this week. The Packers have a 4-7 record and they are ranked 12th against wide receivers.

Wilson struggled in Week 11, but the Jets offense as a whole struggled, gaining only 103 yards. In Week 12, QB Mike White will start for the Jets, and we still have to see how that goes for the two of them. The Jets will play the Chicago Bears on Sunday and as a team, they might have an advantage over them. With both teams expected to feature backup quarterbacks, a slow, low-scoring running battle could ensue.
If you have to choose between the two, Smith will likely have more targets than Wilson. DeVonta Smith has been performing consistently and should earn you decent fantasy points this week.
