DeVonta Smith is a professional American wide receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles, as of the 2024 NFL season. According to Bleacher Report, Smith became the first player from Alabama to score a touchdown in the Super Bowl. During his time with the Crimson Tide, Smith won two National Championships and the 2020 Heisman Trophy. The Eagles drafted Smith with the 10th overall pick in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft. In his four-year spell with the Eagles, Smith has amassed 4,011 receiving yards with 27 touchdowns in 63 career games (via ESPN). Before his professional journey, Smith played collegiate football for the Alabama Crimson Tide.
