Jared Goff has not won a Super Bowl as of November 2024.

American football quarterback Jared Goff is a signal caller for the Detroit Lions. He was born in Novato, California, on October 14, 1994. In collegiate football for the California Golden Bears, he set Pac-12 Conference passing yards and touchdown records. His stellar collegiate performance led to the Los Angeles Rams drafting him first overall in the 2016 NFL draft. He started all 7 games but played inconsistently in his debut year. Goff improved significantly one year later where he threw for 28 touchdowns to 7 interceptions. However, his breakout season came in 2018, when he passed for 4,688 yards along with a career-high 32 touchdowns. Goff helped the Los Angeles Rams make the playoffs for the second consecutive season that year. After tasting defeat against the Atlanta Falcons in the Divisional game in 2017, Goff assisted the Rams to their first NFC title since 2001. In a historic Super Bowl meet, the Rams fell short of the New England Patriots.

In 2019, Goff experienced challenges. His performance dropped as he passed for 4,638 yards and 22 touchdowns but career-high 16 interceptions. After a strong run since 2017, the Rams missed the playoffs. In 2021, the Rams traded Goff and 2 first-round future picks for Matthew Stafford. He had a mediocre first season with the Lions, throwing for 3,245 yards and 19 touchdowns along with eight interceptions. The Lions struggled, ending 3-13-1. Goff had a resurgence with the Lions in 2022. Jared's statistics were; 4,438 yards, 29 touchdowns with seven interceptions. However, his best season with the Lions came in 2023, where he threw for 30 touchdowns and passed for 4,575 yards (2nd best in the league). Leading the Lions to their first-ever Championship game in more than 3 decades got him a lucrative 4-year, $212 million deal in 2024.
