Diontae Lamarcus Johnson is an American football wide receiver for the Houston Texans in the 2024 NFL season. The Pittsburgh Steelers selected Johnson as the 66th overall pick in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Before joining the Houston Texans as a waiver pickup in December 2024, he spent the majority of his time in Pittsburgh before appearing in some games for the Carolina Panthers and Baltimore Ravens. Before the start of the 2022 NFL season, he was signed to a two-year $36.7 million contract by the Steelers. His best years came with the Steelers, as he had 3 seasons with 880 or more receiving yards, including a 1000-yard 2021 campaign during his tenure. (via Pro Football Reference).

Johnson’s football career began at Earl J. Lennard High School in Ruskin, Florida. After completing his secondary education, Conner committed to the University of Toledo to play football for the Rockets in 2015. He went on to play in 39 games for the Rockets during his four-year tenure, where he recorded more than 2,276 receiving yards and 24 touchdowns. His career year at college came during his sophomore season when he piled up 1,278 yards (via Sports Reference).
