The Philadelphia Eagles will be looking to earn a spot in the NFC Championship Game for the second time in the last three seasons when they face off against the Los Angeles Rams. The game will be played at the Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday in the NFC Divisional Round.

Thanks to a fantastic performance by running back Saquon Barkley, the Eagles easily defeated the Rams in Week 12 of the regular season. The Offensive Player of the Year frontrunner rushed for a career-high 255 yards and two touchdowns in the 37–20 victory.

The 2002 NFC Championship game was the last time the Eagles and Rams played each other in the postseason. The Rams defeated the Eagles 29–24 under the leadership of quarterback Kurt Warner and running back Marshall Faulk in that game.

Below, we will take a look at the Philadelphia Eagles' injury report ahead of the crucial playoff game.

Eagles injury report for divisional round vs. Rams

In preparation for their Divisional Round playoff matchup with the Los Angeles Rams, the Philadelphia Eagles released their first official injury report on Wednesday.

Five Eagles players were classified as DNP on Wednesday — wide receiver A.J. Brown (knee/rest), running back Saquon Barkley (rest), offensive tackle Jordan Mailata (rest), center Cam Jurgens (rest), and outside linebacker Josh Sweat (rest).

Brown was the only one of these players with a true ailment indication; he was marked as "knee/rest.” As for the other players listed as DNP on Wednesday, they were only given rest days off.

Additionally, Brown stated on Wednesday that he was not dealing with any major issue and that his non-participation in practice on Wednesday was scheduled. He also mentioned that he would practice again on Thursday.

The Eagles' injury report on Wednesday did not include linebacker Nakobe Dean, who tore his patellar tendon in their wild-card game against the Green Bay Packers last Sunday. This is because he was placed on injured reserve, meaning he will miss the rest of the playoffs and probably the start of the following season.

Dean sustained a bad injury in the first half of the 22-10 playoff win. Oren Burks took his spot after he was carried to the locker room.

Burks will probably start in Dean's place against the Rams on Sunday. If Philly makes it past the divisional round, Burks is also expected to start in the other playoff games.

The Eagles also listed defensive tackle Byron Young (hamstring) and quarterback Kenny Pickett (ribs) as full practice participants on Wednesday.

The team designated Young to return from injured reserve last week. Although he participated fully in practice all week, he was ultimately ruled out to play in the wild-card game.
