D. J. Moore is a professional American footballer who plays as a wide receiver for the Chicago Bears in the National Football League. Moore was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 14, 1997, As of now he is 26 years old. Moore's professional career in the NFL began in 2018 when he was picked in the first round of the NFL draft of 2018 by the Carolina Panthers and he has shown no signs of slowing down and has taken his career to a whole new level. Moore after being selected by the Panthers signed a deal with them worth $6.2 million for four years.

Moore in 2018 his first season with the Panthers delivered brilliant performances one after another and in a match against the Dallas Cowboys Moore made his NFL debut. After delivering top-notch performances throughout the season Moore finished the following season of 2018 with 55 receptions for 788 and two touchdowns. Moore continued his excellent performance for the Panthers in the upcoming season where in the 2021 season he recorded 93 receptions for 1,157 receiving yards and four receiving touchdowns. After his brilliant performance in the 2021 season, Moore signed a new contract with the Carolina Panthers for three years in 2022. In 2023 Moore was traded by the Panthers to the Chicago Bears.

DJ Moore attended University of Maryland. Despie receiving athletic scholarships from many different colleges. Before his journey in the NFL began Moore used to play college football with the Maryland Terrapins football team. Moore in 2018 his freshman year was able to participate in 12 games in the entire season and he finished the following season with 25 receptions for 357 yards and three touchdowns.

Moore continued to showcase his brilliant performance and quickly became one of the best players in his college. Moore had a fantastic season in his junior year and due to his brilliant performance, he was named to the First-team All-Big Ten Conference. In his junior year, he recorded career-high stats, whereas in the following season, he recorded 80 receptions for 1,033 yards and eight touchdowns. After having a successful run in his college career Moore announced that he would not participate in his senior year and declared himself for the upcoming draft of NFL 2018.

Coming into the NFL after a successful college career and fantastic physical attributes, Moore was seen as a rare combination of strength and skills. He weighs around 95 kg and is 6 feet tall. The young player has constantly proven himself by showcasing tremendous performance in each and every game he has played. If Moore is able to keep doing what he has been doing so far there should be no doubt that in upcoming years DJ Moore will cement himself as one of the top players in the NFL.
