DeKaylin Zecharius "DK" Metcalf is a professional American football wide receiver for the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL, as of 2024. Metcalf was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks with the 64th pick in the second round of the 2019 NFL draft. With 58 receptions and seven receiving touchdowns, Metcalf concluded his debut season with 900 receiving yards. Metcalf broke the Seahawks franchise record in 2020 by recording 1,303 receiving yards. In 2022, Metcalf extended his contract with the Seahawks for three years. The following year, Metcalf was named to the Pro Bowl.

For collegiate football, Metcalf attended the University of Mississippi. In 2016, Metcalf played in just two games as a freshman for Ole Miss prior to sustaining a foot injury that ended his season. He hauled in 39 passes for 646 yards, seven touchdowns in 2017, and 26 receptions for 569 yards in 2018. Metcalf gave up his last two years of collegiate football to enter the 2019 NFL draft. Prior to college, Metcalf played high school football at Oxford High School.

Metcalf’s most recent injury was in September 2024. Before that, Metcalf sustained an injury in October 2022 when he suffered a sprained knee. Prior to that, Metcalf has dealt with a foot injury, knee strain, and muscle pull during his time in the NFL. In 2018, Metcalf sustained a season-ending Cervical Neck Fracture and in 2016, he endured a Pedal Foot Fracture which ultimately caused him to miss the season.
