DK Metcalf and the Seattle Seahawks are in survival mode for the remainder of the season. After a sequence of losses, they lost ground to the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC West race, and their chances of making the playoffs aren't as high as they were three weeks ago.
Their most likely path involved winning both their remaining games, including a Week 18 contest against the Rams, and hoping that their rivals would lose to the Arizona Cardinals later this week. The first part of the job is done, although in an ugly fashion.
Metcalf struggled throughout the night, as the entire offense couldn't score a single touchdown against the Chicago Bears. However, they were still able to scrape with a 6-3 win in a game dubbed by many NFL fans as one of the worst of the season.

The wide receiver did not have the best of the nights, but that's through no fault of his own. The Seahawks couldn't do much in a cold night, with Geno Smith completing just 17 passes for 160 yards. However, he still made some important plays.
He was also involved in a skirmish midway through the game. Metcalf, who's not exactly known for keeping a cold head during games, once again was involved in an altercation with an opposing player. This time, he was filmed headbutting Chicago Bears cornerback Tyrique Stevenson:
He was the wide receiver with the biggest number of yards during the game, even though this isn't exactly a compliment based on the offense's performance. However, tight end Noah Fant finished the game with four catches and 43 yards, just eclipsing the receiver in this stat.
With one week to go in the regular season, they know that their chances reside on a loss by the Los Angeles Rams against the Cardinals. If they stumble, then Week 18 will be a classic battle: win or go home.
