Fans who wish to see their teams compete in the NFL playoffs cannot use their season tickets to watch games at home stadiums. This is primarily due to different pricing standards for different stadiums and ticketing rules for postseason games.

What does a season ticket holder get?

A season ticket allows the holder access to all regular-season home games for one season without additional charges. The ticket price is usually offered at a discounted rate instead of purchasing a ticket for each of the home games for a season individually.

Although season ticket holders do not get playoff tickets, they get earlier access to tickets for playoff home games. This benefit allows them to select their seat(s) before the sale is open to the rest of the public.

Do NFL season ticket holders get Super Bowl tickets?

The NFL does not allow season ticket holders the right to purchase Super Bowl tickets. Tickets for the Super Bowl are generally reserved for different groups.

Around one-third of the tickets are for fans of the two teams playing for the title. The remainder is distributed among other football fans, host city season ticket holders, and various media/sponsors and partners of the NFL.
