Douglas Irvin Pederson is an American football coach who is the head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars right now in the National Football League (NFL). The Philadelphia Eagles, Kansas City Chiefs, and the Jacksonville Jaguars are the names of the teams he has guided as a coach.

He was born in Bellingham, Washington, in 1968 and was raised in Ferndale, Washington. He attended Ferndale High School, where he played various sports like football, basketball, and baseball. After high school, he graduated from Northeast Louisiana University, where he played quarterback with the Northeast Louisiana University's Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks football team from 1987 to 1990. During his school years, he made multiple passing records.

Pederson was also a football player who played in the National Football League after graduating from Northeast Louisiana University. The Miami Dolphins, Green Bay Packers, Philadelphia Eagles, and Cleveland Browns are the teams he performed in from 1991 to 2004. Pederson started out his coaching career, serving as an assistant for the Eagles from 2009 to 2012. Pederson served as the Chiefs' offensive coordinator in 2013, and he returned to the Eagles as their head coach in 2016.
