Drake London and Davante Adams both rank inside of the top 25 overall fantasy football players in drafts this year, according to their current ADP. This means they can be targeted in the second round of most formats. While they each have the upside to serve as a WR1 on many fantasy rosters, the following breakdown will determine which wide receiver is a better pick for the 2024 NFL season.
Drake London vs Davante Adams: ADP and fantasy outlook
Each fantasy football season presents a new outlook for every player. This helps to determine their ADP and whether or not they make for a valuable option during fantasy drafts. Here's where Drake London and Davante Adams currently stand.
Drake London ADP, stats and outlook
Drake London has been consistently solid during his two seasons with the Atlanta Falcons. His rookie season included 72 receptions on 117 targets for 866 yards and four touchdowns, finishing as the WR36 in fantasy football. He finished as the WR39 last year, recording 69 receptions on 110 targets for 905 yards and two touchdowns.

The young wide receiver appears to be in a prime position to potentially have a breakout season in 2024. He has suffered through some of the worst quarterback play in the entire NFL, but that should no longer be the case this year after the Falcons added Kirk Cousins. London will have his first opportunity to play with an established veteran, brightening his overall outlook.
His current ADP reflects the quarterback change, as he currently ranks the 22nd overall player and WR11 in fantasy football. This is significantly higher than he has finished in each of his first two seasons, but the upside with Cousins' arrival is obvious. He is currently being drafted as borderline WR1 on many fantasy rosters, but he makes for an extremely valuable WR2.
Davante Adams ADP, stats and outlook
Davante Adams has consistently performed as one of the best overall fantasy football wide receivers during his career so far. He has recorded seven finishes among the top 15 players in his position across his ten NFL seasons. This includes doing so in both of his two years with the Las Vegas Raiders so far.
In his first season with the Raiders, Adams turned in an impressive 100 receptions on 180 targets for 1,516 yards and 14 touchdowns on his way to a WR2 finish. He dropped to the WR11 in his second season but still recorded 103 receptions on 175 targets for 1,144 yards and eight touchdowns. The dip in production is partially due to Derek Carr departing the Raiders.
Adams will have a challenging quarterback situation to overcome in 2024, with the team currently rostering Gardner Minshew and Aidan O'Connell. This contributes to his ADP being lower this year, as he currently ranks as the WR10 and 17th overall player. He makes for a high-upside target in the second round but surely comes with more risk this year than he usually does.
Drake London vs Davante Adams: Who should you pick in 2024 fantasy football?
According to Sportskeeda's Who Should I Draft tool, Drake London makes for a better pick in 2024 fantasy football drafts than Davante Adams. His season-long projections are superior to the reliable veteran's, including more expected receptions and yards. London is expected to turn in a career-best season, partially due to his massive upgrade at quarterback.
It's interesting to note that while Adams currently has a higher ADP, the tool projects that he will be less productive than London this year. Managers who take advantage of this generator can make more informed decisions during their drafts, including capitalizing on the Falcons young star despite his lower ranking than the Raiders veteran.
