The Philadelphia Eagles and Cincinnati Bengals are two of the clubs many tipped at the beginning of the season to put forth strong postseason pushes, but they have both faced different challenges in the early going of the 2024 season. The two teams will now face off on Sunday at Paycor Stadium for their Week 8 schedule.
The Eagles (4-2) are coming off probably their biggest performance of the season, a resounding 28-3 victory against the New York Giants in Week 7. Meanwhile, the Bengals are now 3-4 after winning back-to-back games against the Giants and the Cleveland Browns. They will be hoping to win on Sunday to go .500 for the first time this season.
Let's take a look at how the two clubs are doing in terms of injuries before their matchup in Week 8.

Philadelphia Eagles injury report
The Philadelphia Eagles released their third and last injury report on Friday in preparation for their Week 8 matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Eagles have ruled out tight end Dallas Goedert (hamstring), guard Mekhi Becton (concussion), and defensive tackle Byron Young (hamstring).
Except for those three, every player on Philly's injury report for this week has been cleared to play on Sunday.
Cincinnati Bengals injury report
The Cincinnati Bengals added wide receiver Tee Higgins to the injury report on Friday with a quadricep injury designation. He is the only player on the team's final injury report who is carrying a designation into the Week 8 contest.
Safety Geno Stone (shin) and offensive tackle Orlando Brown Jr. (knee) will be available on Sunday after they both logged full practice participation on Friday.
Tee Higgins injury update
Tee Higgins has a quad injury that must have developed following practice on Thursday. He wasn't listed on the Bengals' injury reports on Wednesday and Thursday, but he was listed as a limited participant in Friday's practice.
Higgins' availability is in doubt after being designated as questionable on Friday's injury report, but he is expected to receive more treatment as the team keeps hoping he will play.
Geno Stone injury update
Geno Stone departed last weekend's game against the Cleveland Browns and did not return due to a shin injury. He then missed practice on Wednesday due to the injury.
He did, however, make a limited comeback to practice on Thursday, which was encouraging for his prospects of playing against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Head coach Zac Taylor verified that Stone will play in Week 8 after he recorded a full practice participation on Friday.
Dallas Goedert injury update
Dallas Goedert will miss another game for the Philadelphia Eagles this week due to a hamstring injury he sustained in Week 6.
Although the exact time of his recovery from the injury is still unknown, Philadelphia is hoping for a speedy recovery. Grant Calcaterra will continue to get more playing time in the Eagles offense against the Bengals on Sunday while Goedert is out.
