The Pittsburgh Steelers have been busy this off-season and it continues with the signing of LB Elandon Roberts.
Elandon Roberts spent the last three seasons with the Miami Dolphins. He was the New England Patriots' sixth-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.
Last season, the 28-year-old recorded a career-high of 107 tackles and 4.5 sacks. Overall, he has 457 tackles, 11 sacks, four forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries.

Roberts isn't the first linebacker the Steelers have signed this off-season. They also inked former Washington Commanders linebacker Cole Holcomb on a three-year deal.
Elandon Roberts was Washington's fifth-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft and has played with them for the last four seasons. In his career, he's recorded 388 tackles, 4.5 sacks, five forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, three interceptions, and 10 pass break-ups.
Pittsburgh Steelers cut Myles Jack after acquiring Elandon Roberts
After the addition of Elandon Roberts, the Steelers have decided to part ways with Myles Jack. The former Jaguars linebacker played one season in Pittsburgh and is now a free agent again. Pittsburgh signed Jack in the last off-season on March 17, to a two-year deal. The move created $8 million in cap space for this season.
The Steelers also lost linebacker Robert Spillane to the Las Vegas Raiders this off-season. They'll replace Spillane and Jack with Holcomb and Roberts, and they're also expected to lose linebacker Devin Bush in free agency.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are one of the few teams who usually aren't aggressive in free agency. They build their team through the draft and extend a lot of their own guys.
Since the Steelers have been rebuilding their team the last two off-seasons, they've been a little bit more aggressive during the free agency period. In the off-season, they have added cornerback Patrick Peterson, guard Nate Herbig, re-signed defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi, linebackers Holcomb and Roberts, and safety Damontae Kazee.
They've only lost cornerback Cam Sutton thus far in free agency, and have released linebacker Myles Jack. They also released cornerback William Jackson III, who they acquired from the Commanders via trade before the deadline last season.
Pittsburgh will continue to make off-season moves, and one of their focuses has been their linebacker group, which will see at least two different starters for next season.
