Evan Williams played safety for the Oregon Ducks and is looking forward to entering the 2024 NFL draft. Before the Ducks, Williams played his first four years of college football at Fresno State from 2019 to 2022. He grew up in Los Gatos, California and is the brother of former Oregon and NFL safety Bennett Williams.

Williams played a total of 5 years in college but his best seasons came in 2021. He notched three interceptions, 2 fumbles recovered, 59 solo tackles, 31 assisted tackles, and 4.5 tackles for loss. His play earned him a spot in the first-team All-Mountain West. In 2022, while his numbers dropped a bit, he had 69 total tackles, 6.0 tackles for loss, and one sack, and was named to the second-team All-Mountain West.

Overall, Williams finished his college career with impressive stats. It included multiple all-conference selections and strong tackling numbers. Williams also showed his versatility as a defender with sacks forced fumbles, and pass breakups. On the other hand, Williams has great size but is not an overly physical defender. He might need to add some muscle to his frame to match the NFL's physicality.

It also included 2 all-conference selections.

After four seasons with the Bulldogs, Williams entered the NCAA transfer portal and joined the Oregon Ducks. He was also named to the second-team All-Pac 12 because of his outstanding season.

After the conclusion of the 2023 college season, Williams will now enter the 2024 NFL draft.
