On Monday, Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens traveled to SoFi Stadium to take on Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers in a battle between the Harbaugh brothers, John and Jim, the respective coaches of the two teams.
The Ravens were coming off a tough 18-16 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, which saw them cede control of the top spot in the AFC North.
Jackson had an underwhelming day, completing only 23-of-36 pass attempts for 207 yards and one touchdown. He also tossed an interception, his first in five games, and rushed four times for 46 yards, but it didn't matter much.
The reigning MVP and his team were looking to bounce back from that loss to the Steelers and help their coach maintain his perfect record against his brother.

Lamar Jackson's stats vs. Chargers on MNF
Here are Lamar Jackson's numbers from the Ravens 30-23 win over the Chargers:
The reigning MVP had an efficient day as he helped the Ravens improve to 8-4. Baltimore didn't have the best start to the game and fell behind 10-0 early in the second quarter. However, an incredible 10-yard touchdown run from Jackson brought them back into it.
Late in the second quarter, the Chargers had seemingly done enough to ensure they go into the halftime break level on the scoreboard if not in the lead.
However, Jackson had other ideas, as he threw a perfect 40-yard deep pass to Rashod Bateman who showed terrific concentration to catch it and help the Ravens take the lead.
Early in the fourth quarter, the Ravens faced 3rd-and-goal in the redzone, and Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh called a blitz to limit the damage to a field goal. However, a backtracking threw a strike to tight end Mark Andrews, his second touchdown pass of the night.
Lamar Jackson's efficient outing was exactly what the Ravens needed against the league's stingiest defense.
The Chargers did well to contain the quarterback as a rusher, limiting him to only 15 yards on the ground. However, he's still the league leader in rushing yards among quarterbacks, with 599.
He's also topping the passing yards chart with 3,053 and is joint-top in passing touchdowns alongside Cincinnati Bengals' Joe Burrow with 27. The reigning MVP is back in form and on track to reclaim his throne.
