Aaron Rodgers won his second MVP Award in 2014 after a sensational regular season with the Green Bay Packers. Rodgers amassed a stat line of 4,381 passing yards, 38 touchdowns and five interceptions. He guided the Green Bay Packers to a 12-4 record and their fourth straight NFC North crown.
2015: Cam Newton, Quarterback - Carolina Panthers
Cam Newton redefined what it meant to be a dual-threat quarterback in the 2015 season. That Carolina Panthers superstar led his team to a 15-1 record on the back of a 45 total touchdowns season.
Newton was competent in the air and elite on the ground in 2015. His Panthers side was a Week 16 win away from ending the season with a flawless record, making Newton a popular choice for his first and only MVP Award.
2016: Matt Ryan, Quarterback - Atlanta Falcons
2016 Matt Ryan was in a league of his own as the Falcons quarterback flexed his arm strength and game management. Ryan was the architect of the Falcons ending the regular season with an 11-5 record.
Ryan ended the season with 4,944 passing yards, 38 touchdowns, and seven interceptions stat line. He never threw for more than one interception in a game all season.
2017: Tom Brady, Quarterback - New England Patriots
Tom Brady earned his final MVP award in 2017. The New England Patriots superstar was exquisite in his age-40 season.
Brady racked up a stat line of 4,577 passing yards, 32 touchdowns and eight interceptions to guide his side to a 13-3 record.
2018: Patrick Mahomes, Quarterback - Kansas City Chiefs
Patrick Mahomes won his first MVP award in 2018. The Kansas City Chiefs legend won the award in his first year as a full-time starter in Andy Reid's side.
Mahomes played like a chiseled veteran, amassing a phenomenal 5,097 passing yards, 50 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
2019: Lamar Jackson, Quarterback - Baltimore Ravens
Lamar Jackson became only the second unanimous MVP in league history in 2019. He racked up over 3,000 passing yards and more than 1,200 rushing yards and ended the season with just six interceptions. Jackson's performance signaled a change in the potential change of guard in the MVP leaderboard.
2020: Aaron Rodgers, Quarterback - Green Bay Packers
Aaron Rodgers won his third MVP Award for an excellent season in Green Bay. Rodgers amassed a stat line of 4,299 passing yards, 48 touchdowns and five interceptions. It doesn't get more efficient than a 70.7 completion percentage for the future Hall of Famer.
2021: Aaron Rodgers, Quarterback - Green Bay Packers
Rodgers won his fourth, and likely final, MVP Award in 2021. The future Hall of Famer scored 4,115 passing yards, 37 touchdowns and five interceptions to take him top honors.
2022: Patrick Mahomes, Quarterback - Kansas City Chiefs
Patrick Mahomes won the 2022 MVP Award after enjoying the best year of his career. The Kansas City Chiefs superstar racked up a phenomenal 5,250 passing yards, 41 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
2023: Lamar Jackson, Quarterback - Baltimore Ravens
Lamar Jackson won his second MVP Award in 2023. The dual threat superstar took home the award thanks to 3,678 passing yards, 24 passing touchdowns, seven interceptions, 148 carries, 821 rushing yards and five rushing TDs.
