According to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb is retiring from the NFL after 13 seasons. The 33-year-old is now going to work as a studio commentator for college football at SEC Network. He will be featured on a few SEC Now shows this fall.
The Packers selected Cobb with the 64th overall choice in the 2011 NFL draft's second round. He played in Green Bay for 10 seasons and was named to the Pro Bowl in 2014. He also played for the Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans and New York Jets.
Cobb recorded 532 receptions (5th in franchise history), 47 touchdown receptions (10th in franchise history) and 6,316 receiving yards (11th in franchise history) during his time with the Packers.

Randall Cobb's career earnings in the spotlight
Randall Cobb’s last contract in the NFL was with the New York Jets. The contract was a one-year deal worth $3 million, with $250,000 guaranteed.
According to Spotrac, that contract increased Cobb’s career earnings to $72.2 million.
Cobb's first NFL contract was a four-year contract with the Packers after the team drafted him in the second round. That deal was worth $3.2 million with a $834,000 signing bonus, $1.05 million guaranteed and an average annual salary of $802,000.
Randall Cobb signed a $40 million, four-year contract deal with the Packers in 2015. This was the biggest contract the wide receiver signed in his career, with $13 million in guaranteed funds and an average salary of $10 million a year.
Cobb signed his third league deal with the Dallas Cowboys in 2019. The $5 million contract had a one-year option and a $2 million signing bonus.
Cobb played for the Cowboys for one season before moving on to the Texans in 2020. He and the Texans agreed to a $27 million, three-year contract. In addition, $18 million in guaranteed funds, a $6 million signing bonus and an average salary of $9 million were included in that arrangement.
