Ezekiel Elliott is an American professional footballer who plays as a running back in the national football league (NFL). Elliott's professional began in 2016 where he was selected by the Dallas Cowboys as the fourth overall pick in the first round of the NFL 2016 draft.

On May 18 2016 he signed a four deal with the Cowboys of worth $24.9 million. He made his debut in a game against the New York Giants where he 51 yards on 20 attempts and scored his first NFL touchdown. He week after week improved his game and maintained a dominant form in each game where in a game against Pittsburgh Steelers where he recorded 209 scrimmage yards and three touchdowns. Elliott finished his first season in the NFL as the top rusher with 1,631 yards which was the third most done by a rookie. He was also ranked by his team members at 7th in the list of Top NFL players of 2017.

In 2019 the Cowboys used the fifth year option in Elliott's contract but he was against it instead he wanted a contract extension. On September 4, 2019, he got that contract extension when he signed a new deal with the Cowboys for six years of worth $90 million. Elliott continued his brilliant performance in the upcoming season where in the 2021 season he finished with 1,002 yards rushing yards and ten touchdowns on 237 carries along with 47 receptions for 287 yards and two touchdowns. On March 15 2023 Ezekiel Elliott was released by the Dallas Cowboys.

Ezekiel Elliott was born on July 22, 1995, in Alton, Illinois, Currently, he is 28 years old. The young player first came into the NFL as a running back for the Dallas Cowboys at the age of 21.

Before he came into the NFL Ezekiel Elliott used to play college football with Ohio. In his freshman year, he recorded 262 rushing yards with two touchdowns. In 2014 against Wisconsin Badgers in the 2014 Big Ten Championship Game Elliott ran for 220 yards on 20 carries for two touchdowns. In the Suger Bowl of 2015 in a 42–35 win against Alabama Elliott ran for 230 yards on 20 carries. The following year he was also named as the Offensive MVP of the sugar bowl 2015.
