Fact check: Did Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel take shots at Tyreek Hill over WR's paternity lawsuit?

Mike McDaniel has had nothing but good things to say about Tyreek Hill

Did Mike McDaniel just mock Tyreek Hill over the many children the wide receiver has had? It seemed to be that way when a video of the Miami Dolphins coach discussing the topic emerged on Instagram:

"He's got 10,000 career yards and twelve children. The guy is as fast as a cheetah, and he's one of the best receivers in the NFL. But the man averages around one child every 800 yards... Tyreek is a great route runner, but he needs to work on his pull out game."

However, if one looks closely at the top of the screen, they can see the words "MemerunnerGPT (parody 100% made with AI)", confirming that it's a fake.

Craig Carton believes Mike McDaniel may be on the hot seat entering Year 3 with Dolphins

The Mike McDaniel era has been so far a great one for the Dolphins, who have made the playoffs in his first two seasons in Miami. However, both appearances have ended in Wild Card losses - first at the divisional rival Buffalo Bills and then at Tyreek Hill's dynastic Kansas City Chiefs of old.

Sportscaster Craig Carton believes such disappointments could be a reason for the ownership and management to threaten their coach's job unless he performs better. On his eponymous FS1 show, he said:

"I'm not saying that Mike McDaniel's on the hot seat, but at what point does (his) genius equate to winning (the AFC East), winning a playoff game? When does that happen? Beause you don't get ten years for that to happen. At some point, it's gotta happen."

Carton's comments echo that of FanSided's Matt Serniak, who wrote for Phin Phanatic, the team's section of the website:

"The general rule, unless you’re a Nathaniel Hackett type, is that a coach has three years to do real winning. If you don’t do that, then you’re axed. McDaniel has won. He has made the playoffs in his first two years. That’s not nothing considering the mediocre results the Dolphins have had in the past
"However, still not winning a playoff game since 2000 with all this talent is not what anyone wants... Can he buck the trend that the Dolphins can’t win late? I suppose we’ll see."

The Dolphins camp begin on July 24, with the rookies reporting. Veterans report on July 26, and the first public session will be on July 28.
