Campbell said he was busy living outside the NFL, concentrating on his kids and coaching high school football.
Campbell claimed he had been inundated with internet comments and phone calls from worried individuals ever since he was mistakenly identified as one of the men involved in the altercation.
Campbell said that he was upset about being mistaken for someone else and expressed concern that the incident would cost him a job down the road.
Campbell said, "It definitely hampers my potential to get a coaching job anywhere because anyone who checks me up on Google could assume I'm violent."
Which teams did Bruce Campbell play for in the NFL?
The Oakland Raiders selected Bruce Campbell in the 2010 NFL Draft. Experts' initial estimate was for him to be selected among the first ten picks, but he fell well short of that. As the 106th overall selection in the fourth draft round, Campbell instead signed with the Raiders.
From 2010 through 2013, Bruce Campbell played four NFL seasons as an offensive lineman, including two with the Raiders and two with the Carolina Panthers. In 2014, Bruce Campbell temporarily played with the New York Jets before being released before the season began.
