On paper, defending Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, are the clear favorites to defeat the Atlanta Falcons in Week 3. But Atlanta has already proven that it can spring surprises when everyone is least expecting it, as seen by its Week 2 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Falcons have another opportunity to show that they can compete with the top teams in the league when they face Kansas City on Sunday night in prime time at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The two teams concluded their final practice sessions on Friday ahead of their Week 3 matchup. Let's look at the Sunday Night Football inactives for the game on Sunday Night Football.

Kansas City Chiefs inactives today
Running back Isiah Pacheco is one player who was left off of the Chiefs' injury list but will not be available for action in Week 3. He will presumably be sidelined for six to eight weeks due to a fractured fibula, therefore, he has been placed on injured reserve. During the week, the team's coach, Andy Reid, informed the media that Pacheco had been scheduled to undergo surgery on Wednesday.
Pacheco has already gained 135 yards and a touchdown by rushing and 54 yards from seven receptions in his first two games of the 2024 season.
The Chiefs haven't ruled anybody out for the Week 3 game on their injury report, as all the players that appeared on the report during the week were able to log full practice participation.
Only one player is inactive for the Chiefs in Week 3:
RB Isiah Pacheco
Atlanta Falcons inactives today
The Atlanta Falcons placed linebacker Nate Landman on injured reserve on Monday, just before the game against the Philadelphia Eagles. The defensive player is automatically out of tonight's game due to his quad and calf ailments, which will cause him to miss at least three more matchups.
Only defensive linemen David Onyemata and Grady Jarrett were listed as DNP due to non-injury-related rest on the Falcons' final injury report on Friday.
The Falcons only have one player as inactive for Week 3:
LB Nate Landman
