Much has changed for the Atlanta Falcons heading into the 2024 NFL season, and these changes will impact their fantasy football assets this year. Coach Arthur Smith was fired and replaced by former Buccaneers coach Raheem Morris, and on top of that, they let quarterback Desmond Ridder to the Arizona Cardinals.
These moves came after another disappointing season for the Falcons, as they finished with a 7-10 record, missing out on the postseason for the sixth consecutive year.
Now touted as one of the favorites to win the NFC South and return to the playoffs, which fantasy football assets does Atlanta hope will fire it there?
Falcons' best fantasy assets in 2024
#5 - Tyler Allgeier, RB

Tyler Allgeier has been a decent fantasy option during his first two seasons in the NFL. He finished as RB29 in 2022 and RB36 in 2023, despite the addition of Bijan Robinson to the Falcons' backfield.
Former coach Arthur Smith tended to use Allgeier more than was warranted, though, as in 2023 he ranked as RB45 in explosive run rate and 35th in missed tackles forced per attempt, per FantasyPointsData.
Expect the new-look Falcons offense to lean heavily on Robinson and Allgeier to be little more than a handcuff.
#4 - Kirk Cousins, QB
The Falcons made a splash when they picked up veteran QB Kirk Cousins in free agency from the Minnesota Vikings. Atlanta gave Cousins a four-year, $180 million contract, and his job is to fire up an offense that's been slacking since Matt Ryan left.
Cousins threw for 18 touchdowns and five interceptions in just eight games in 2023 before suffering a season-ending ACL tear, averaging 291.4 passing yards and 2.0 TDs per game.
He gets plenty of weapons in Atlanta with the likes of Bijan Robinson, Drake London and Kyle Pitts - so if healthy, Cousins could be a low-end QB1 in fantasy football for 2024.
#3 - Kyle Pitts, TE
Despite failing to live up to expectations in his short NFL career, tight end Kyle Pitts comes into 2024 in the best situation of his career. A new coach and an upgrade at quarterback can only be positives for the former Florida man.
Pitts caught 53 passes for 667 yards and three TDs in 2023, ending as TE13 in PPR scoring. His ADP is currently #66 overall, and after a disappointing couple of seasons, now could be the time to buy-low on the Falcons tight end.
#2 - Drake London, WR
In 2023, Drake London finished as WR36 in PPR scoring, despite accumulating 23% target share and 31% air yards share. He went for 905 yards on 69 receptions but could only total two TDs, limiting his fantasy football production.
Despite this, London's ADP is high at #20 overall, as many fantasy managers anticipate improvement with Kirk Cousins now at quarterback.
#1 - Bijan Robinson, RB
One of the most premium fantasy football assets in 2024 is Falcons RB Bijan Robinson. Robinson entered the league with much hype, and with coach Arthur Smith now gone, he should be the sole lead back on this offense.
He was RB9 in PPR scoring during his rookie year in 2023, but with better management, he could have broken the top five. Robinson's opportunity share ranked 31st, and he was also RB32 in red zone touches, but this should change in 2024.
His ADP is at #5 overall, but his ceiling is RB1 in this new-look Atlanta offense.
