Last season, the Dallas Cowboys had one of the best offenses in the NFL, as well as some of the best fantasy football assets. Dallas won the NFC East title with a 12-5 record, scoring a league-high 509 points throughout the season. However, the Cowboys were eliminated in the NFC wildcard round, being trounced 48-32 by the Green Bay Packers.

Since the end of last season, notable fantasy assets who've left Dallas include running back Tony Pollard, who has moved to the Tennessee Titans, and wide receiver Michael Gallup, who has had to retire due to persistent injury woes.

That raises the question as to which fantasy football assets managers can rely on from the Dallas Cowboys in 2024.

#5 - Brandin Cooks, WR

Veteran wide receiver Brandin Cooks looks to be second in the pecking order behind CeeDee Lamb, but could still be a useful fantasy football option.

After a slow start to his first season in Dallas in 2023, Cooks eventually ended the year as WR38 in PPR scoring, ahead of the likes of Tank Dell and Cooper Kupp.

Should Cooks and quarterback Dak Prescott continue to develop their rapport, Cooks' ADP of #145 overall could prove to be a steal.

#4 - Ezekiel Elliott, RB

Returning to the Cowboys after a one-year stint with the New England Patriots, Ezekiel Elliott looks set to be the team's RB1, at least to begin 2024.

Elliott is ahead of Rico Dowdle on the depth chart at the time of writing, despite a lackluster 2023 performance that saw him rank as RB45 in missed tackles forced per attempt and 43rd in yards after contact per attempt out of 49 qualifying RBs.

Despite this, Elliott should see plenty of goal-line work in this high-powered Cowboys offense, meaning he's got RB4/flex potential in fantasy realms.

#3 - Jake Ferguson, TE

One of the surprises of 2023 was the emergence of tight end Jake Ferguson as a reliable fantasy football asset. Ferguson totaled 761 yards and five touchdowns on 71 receptions as he was voted to his first Pro Bowl.

Ferguson was TE9 in PPR scoring after being drafted as TE25 in most leagues prior to last season, turning into one of the bargains of the fantasy year. His ADP is at #85 overall for 2024, and if he can continue to play an important role in the Cowboys' offense, he could once again be a low-cost elite fantasy football option.

#2 - Dak Prescott, QB

QB3 in fantasy football in 2023, Dak Prescott will be hoping to once again be an elite fantasy asset for one of the best offenses in the NFL.

Prescott passed for 36 TDs versus nine INTs and 4,516 yards as he led all QBs in both completions and touchdown passes. Despite offering little rushing upside, Dak is one of the most efficient passers in the NFL. He also benefits from passing to CeeDee Lamb, one of the best wide receivers in football.

#1 - CeeDee Lamb, WR

One of the best fantasy football assets in 2024 is Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb. Lamb finished as WR1 in PPR scoring last year after totaling 135 receptions for 1,749 yards and 12 TDs and adding a further two rushing scores.

He was fourth in target share (29.2%), fifth in yards per route run and eighth in first downs per route run, displaying his excellent connection with Dak Prescott.

Contract issues loom over Lamb, but he's still expected to play and challenge for the WR1 crown in fantasy football once again, especially with his expensive ADP of #3 overall.
