Much has changed for the 2024 Pittsburgh Steelers, in both the real world and in terms of fantasy football.
Since the end of the 2023 NFL season, they've sent QB Kenny Pickett to the Philadelphia Eagles and acquired Russell Wilson and Justin Fields to upgrade their QB room. Moreover, long-time starting WR Diontae Johnson has joined the Carolina Panthers.
After a solid 10-7 season, the Steelers made the AFC playoffs but were swiftly eliminated by the Buffalo Bills on wildcard weekend.

However, with new starters across the offense, who will be the Pittsburgh Steelers' valuable fantasy football assets in 2024?

Steelers’ top fantasy football assets in 2024
#5 - Roman Wilson, WR

Despite WR Roman Wilson coming into the Steelers' training camp as a rookie, he's got a chance to become the team's WR2 heading into the new season.
Wilson was taken in the third round of the 2024 NFL draft after helping Michigan win the 2023 CFB National Championship. He set career highs in receptions (48), yards (789) and touchdowns (12) and will look to keep up his rich vein of form ahead of his debut NFL season.
Pittsburgh is likely to roll out a run-heavy offense, especially should Justin Fields get starting reps, but he's worth a late-round pick in long leagues.
#4 - Jaylen Warren, RB

If you're in a PPR league, RB Jaylen Warren is definitely worth picking up as an RB3/4. Warren may still enter 2024 as the backup to Najee Harris, but last year saw Warren more involved in Pittsburgh's offense than ever before.
Warren ended 2023 as RB22 in PPR scoring, one place ahead of Harris. This was largely due to Warren's 61 receptions versus Harris' 29, but he still had over 100 fewer carries.
Warren's ADP is No. 82 overall, but he ended 2023 third in explosive run rate, first in missed tackles forced per attempt and second in yards after contact per attempt.
#3 - Najee Harris, RB

Despite the Steelers having two RBs worthy of a starting berth for many teams, the fact that both Jaylen Warren and Najee Harris find themselves on the same team limits their fantasy football potential.
Harris ended 2023 as RB23 in PPR scoring, totaling 1,035 yards and eight touchdowns on 255 carries. He ranked sixth in the NFL and his output was disappointing given his opportunities. He also only had 29 receptions limiting his PPR-upside.
Harris' ADP is No. 61 overall, and many will take a chance given his total carries numbers.
#2 - Pat Freiermuth, TE

After an injury-hit 2023 season, Steelers TE Pat Freiermuth is likely to play a key role on the team's offense this year.
Freiermuth finished as TE7 in PPR scoring in 2022 — his least healthy season — putting up 732 yards on 63 receptions as well as two touchdowns. He's proven he can be a solid fantasy football tight end. Despite not putting up outstanding numbers, the lack of depth at the WR position means Freiermuth should see plenty of opportunities should he stay healthy.
#1 - George Pickens, WR

WR George Pickens is by far and away the biggest fantasy football asset on the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2024. He ended 2023 as WR29 in PPR scoring after putting up 1,140 yards and five touchdowns on 106 receptions.
Pickens split targets with Diontae Johnson, but now that he's moved on, the sky is the limit for Pickens in this offense that can be tailored around his strengths.
Pickens' ADP is currently No. 55 overall, meaning you can pick up the Steelers' most important fantasy football asset in the fourth round of most league drafts.
