Week 15 of the 2024 fantasy football season is one of the most important slates of the entire year so far. This is because the fantasy playoffs will kick off this week in most leagues. #2 - Budda Baker
Budda Baker ranks as the DB1 in the 2024 fantasy football season. He has finished among the top ten weekly defensive backs five times in his past six games, with two weekly finishes of DB1 along the way.
#3 - Zack Baun
Zack Baun continues to be one of the biggest breakout defensive players this year. He ranks as the overall LB1 this season in his expanded role with the Philadelphia Eagles, with eight weekly finishes of LB9 or better.
#4 - Nick Cross
Nick Cross has been another breakout IDP in fantasy football this year. He ranks as the overall DB2 this season and has finished as the DB7 or better in four of his past five games.
#5 - Ernest Jones
Ernest Jones has finished among the top 15 weekly linebackers in three of his five games for the Seattle Seahawks this year. This includes a season-best LB10 finish in Week 14.
#6 - Nakobe Dean
Nakobe Dean has elevated his output in recent weeks, finishing among the top 15 weekly linebackers in three of his past four games. This has improved his overall ranking to the LB4 this year.
#7 - Josey Jewell
Josey Jewell ranks as just the overall LB27 in fantasy football this year, but he has been on a hot streak in recent weeks. he has finished as the LB9 or better in each of his past four games for the Carolina Panthers.
#8 - Kaden Elliss
Kaden Elliss has expanded his defensive role in recent weeks for the Atlanta Falcons, recording all three of his sacks this season across his past five games. This is a huge addition to his already solid fantasy value by totaling 112 tackles this year.
#9 - Jordyn Brooks
Jordynj Brooks has been one of the reasons why the Miami Dolphins defense has played so well in recent weeks. He has finished among the top ten weekly linebackers in three of his past four games.
#10 - Roquan Smith
Roquan Smith missed his most recent game for the Baltimore Ravens with an injury. If he can return in Week 15 after serving his bye week, he should return to being one of the most reliable IDP options in fantasy football.
#11 - Derwin James
Derwin James has shown his dynamic skillset across his past four games for the Los Angeles Chargers. During that time, he recorded double-digit tackles twice, totaled three sacks and registered his first interception of the season.
#12 - Jamien Sherwood
Jamien Sherwood has received an expanded role for the New York Jets in recent weeks. This has helped to surge in fantasy football by finishing as the LB6 or better in three of his past five games.
#13 - Robert Spillane
Robert Spillane has been consistently reliable in IDP leagues, ranking as the overall LB8 this year. His massive 118 total tackles are the biggest reason for his success.
