#2 - Bobby Wagner
Bobby Wagner turned in a season-low LB60 finish last week but still ranks as the overall LB6 this year. He has also finished among the top 20 linebackers in four of his seven games this season.
#3 - Roquan Smith
Roquan Smith has been slightly disappointing this year, currently ranking as the LB7 through the first seven weeks of the 2024 season. He could be trending back in the right direction following a season-best LB5 finish last week with a season-high 18 total tackles.
#4 - Lavonte David
Lavonte David has been excellent in fantasy football lately, finishing three of the past four weeks ranked among the top 10 linebackers. He will carry his momentum into a favorable Week 8 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons' run-first offense.
#5 - Brian Branch
Brian Branch is having a massive 2024 fantasy football season with the Detroit Lions. He has only played in five games this year but has finished among the top 10 defensive backs in all of them.
#6 - Dorian Williams
Dorian Williams has benefited from Matt Milano being out with an injury. He has totaled 39 tackles across the past four weeks and has ranked as the LB15 or better in three of them.
#7 - Robert Spillane
Robert Spillane has struggled a bit in fantasy football lately, ranking outside of the top 25 linebackers in each of his past two games. Before that, he recorded four consecutive finishes of LB12 or better and currently ranks as the overall LB3 this year.
#8 - Budda Baker
Budda Baker is a defensive back for the Arizona Cardinals, but his tackling numbers look much more like a linebacker's output. He has turned in 67 total tackles across his first seven games of the 2024 season.
#9 - Zaire Franklin
Zaire Franklin was outperformed by teammate EJ Speed in the early stages of the season, but he is seemingly back on track as a reliable tackler in fantasy football. He currently ranks as the LB10 this year with 76 total tackles for the Indianapolis Colts.
#10 - Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah
Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah has been consistently solid in fantasy football this year, ranking among the top 30 linebackers in five of the past six weeks. He will bring his overall LB5 ranking into a favorable matchup with the Baltimore Ravens' run-heavy offense.
#11 - Devin Lloyd
Devin Lloyd has been reliable in fantasy football this season, ranking among the top 25 linebackers in four of his six games. He has stepped up in a big way to replace Foyesade Oluokun for the Jacksonville Jaguars.
#12 - Maxx Crosby
Maxx Crosby is the highest-ranked edge rusher in the Week 8 IDP rankings. He leads the NFL in pressure rate and is averaging more than a sack per game with 6.5 sacks in just six games.
#13 - Nick Bolton
Nick Bolton has been inconsistent this season, ranking among the top 25 and outside of the top 50 three times each. The good news is that his three strong weeks have come across his past four games.
#14 - Julian Love
Julian Love currently ranks as the overall DB2 this season with his dynamic contributions for the Seattle Seahawks. He has totaled 55 tackles, defended four passes, and recorded two interceptions.
