Fantasy Football Week 5 TE rankings & streamers feat. George Kittle, Brock Bowers, Pat Freiermuth

Week 5 of the 2024 fantasy football season has arrived, and managers must now begin working on their lineups. The tight end position has seen many different changes in the rankings, but some things still remain at the top.

George Kittle and Travis Kelce still rank among the top tight ends to target in Week 5 fantasy football lineups. Kelce started his season slow but turned in season-highs in many categories last week, so he appears to be trending in the right direction again. Kittle never left the top portion of the rankings, as he currently ranks as the overall TE2 this year, despite missing a game with an injury.

Rookie sensation Brock Bowers is also one of the top tight ends this season, ranking as the overall TE3 through the first four weeks of the season. The three studs are among the best players to start in their position for Week 5 lineups, but they are joined by other solid options and potential streamers who are playing in favorable situations.

#1 - Pat Freiermuth

Pat Freiermuth has been consistently productive for the Pittsburgh Steelers this season. He has recorded at least four receptions in all four of his games and has been a key part of the team's passing scheme.

The veteran is also coming off of a season-best TE3 finish last week, when he scored his first touchdown of the 2024 fantasy football season. He gets a relatively favorable matchup in Week 5 against the Dallas Cowboys' struggling defense, making him a solid streamer.

#2 - Colby Parkinson

Colby Parkinson has been one of the biggest beneficiaries of Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua both missing time with injuries for the Los Angeles Rams. He has been targeted at least five times in three of his four games, so his reliable volume suggests that a breakout could be coming soon. He represents a sleeper option in Week 5 fantasy football against the Green Bay Packers.

#3 - Tucker Kraft

Tucker Kraft has been quietly solid during the 2024 season, ranking as the overall TE9. This includes a career-best TE2 finish last week when he exploded for six receptions on nine targets for 53 yards and a touchdown. It's important to note that this was his first game since Jordan Love returned to the lineup, so he could be a focal point of their passing game going forward.
