In 2016 Eagles offered Cox a new deal and he accepted the offer and signed a new contract extension deal with the Eagles worth $103 million. In the Super Bowl LII where the Eagles defeated the New England Patriots in the following Super Bowl victory, Cox recorded two quarterback hits and one tackle. He was selected for his third consecutive Pro Bowl because of his excellent performance throughout the 2017 season. Cox Continued to cement his legacy in the Eagles by showing his brilliant performance season after season. IN 2023 Cox signed a new contract extension deal worth $10 million with the Philadelphia Eagles for one year.
