He also made two forced fumbles and six pass breakups. Warner was named team captain in his senior year. He also led his team with 87 total tackles, nine tackles for loss, one sack, an interception, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, and five pass breakups.

Warner finished his college career with many accolades and recognition to his name. He earned recognition by being named to the watch lists for the Badnarik and Butkus Awards. He also got nominated for the Wuerffel Trophy and earned a spot on the AFCA Good Works Team. Over his career, Warner made a significant impact with 264 tackles, securing the 24th position in BYU history. His contributions were acknowledged at the annual team banquet in 2018, where he received both the Most Valuable Player Award and the Captain's Award.
