1. Zach Wilson, Quarterback

Zach Wilson joined the Denver Broncos ahead of the 2024 season via a trade with the New York Jets. He hasn't featured this season, as he's a backup for Bo Nix.

The Broncos will likely let Wilson walk in free agency to find a situation that best suits his skill set. The only way he will come back to Denver is if he joins on a veteran minimum deal.

2. Javonte Williams, Running back

The Denver Broncos selected Javonte Williams with the 35th overall pick of the 2021 NFL draft. Williams is in his fourth year with the Broncos, and he's the team's de facto RB2 behind Jaleel McLaughlin.

It won't be surprising if Williams walks away in free agency, as the Broncos could decide to pick up a replacement via the draft or free agency.

3. D.J. Jones, Defensive tackle

D.J. Jones has been with the Denver Broncos since 2022. Jones is a key part of the team's defense and is an expert at forcing fumbles.

Jones might be up for an extension in the offseason, as he's been productive during his time with the Broncos.

4. Jarrett Stidham, Quarterback

Jarrett Stidham is another quarterback whose contract is winding down in the offseason. Stidham is a journeyman quarterback who has played for the New England Patriots, Las Vegas Raiders and Broncos.

He hasn't been much of a factor since Bo Nix was drafted. He would probably be better suited as a backup quarterback for a contender.

5. Tremon Smith, Cornerback

Tremon Smith is a rotational cornerback on Sean Payton's team. He has also played for the Kansas City Chiefs, Green Bay Packers and Houston Texans.

Smith is a useful depth piece on both the secondary and special teams. However, he'll likely walk in free agency as the Broncos might replace him via the NFL draft.

6. Riley Dixon, Punter

Riley Dixon is the Broncos starting punter. The Broncos drafted Dixon in 2016 as the 228th overall. He's one of the best punters in the league and is up for a decent extension at the end of the regular season.

7. Justin Strnad, Linebacker

Justin Strnad has spent his entire professional football career with the Denver Broncos. He was drafted in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL draft.

Strnad is a contributing piece on the side and could see his contract renewed in the offseason.

8. Matt Peart, Tackle

Matt Peart is a backup offensive tackle with the Broncos. He hasn't been a factor this season and will likely walk in free agency.

9. Quinn Bailey, Tackle

Quinn Bailey has spent his entire professional football career with the Broncos. He's a rotational piece on the offensive line and could be retained if he agrees to sign a team-friendly deal in the offseason.
