Full list of Houston Texans free agents 2025 feat. Stefon Diggs, Robert Woods, Folorunso Fatukasi, and others

The Houston Texans lost to the Kansas City Chiefs 23–14 on Saturday, ending their 2024-25 season in the divisional round of the playoffs. The Texans' postseason run ended in the second round for the second consecutive year.

The AFC South winners now have to focus on their needs on both the offensive and defensive ends of the field as they head into the 2025 offseason. In addition, the Texans must make some difficult choices about re-signing their free agents over the offseason.

Houston Texans' impending free agents (selected players)

#1 - Wide receiver Stefon Diggs (31 years old)

The Texans signed Stefon Diggs in the 2024 offseason to improve the caliber of their receiving corps and to give quarterback C.J. Stroud better weapons.

Unfortunately, the receiver's season ended too soon after he tore his ACL in Week 8. Before the injury, he was averaging a remarkable 62 yards per game. Many teams would pay for him if the Texans don't re-sign Diggs.

#2 - Quarterback Case Keenum (36 years old)

Case Keenum, Houston’s backup quarterback, will also enter free agency in the upcoming offseason. He has been with the Texans for the last two seasons. However, given that he was placed on injured reserve for the 2024 season, he is unlikely to be a priority in the summer.

#3 - Defensive tackle Folorunso Fatukasi (29 years old)

Following his release by the Jacksonville Jaguars last year, Folorunso Fatukasi agreed to a one-year deal with the Houston Texans, where he started 11 games and recorded 24 tackles and four tackles for loss.

It remains to be seen if the former sixth-round pick's contract will be renewed in Houston or if he will be allowed to test the open market.

#4 - Defensive end Derek Barnett (28 years old)

Derek Barnett had a successful 2024 campaign as an operational pass rusher for the Houston Texans, recording two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and five sacks. After signing a one-year deal in 2024, Barnett's contract will expire in March.

#5 - Wide receiver Robert Woods (32 years old)

Robert Woods was consistently the Houston Texans' fourth target in the passing game, behind Tank Dell, Stefon Diggs and Nico Collins, even though he was placed on the injury list several times in 2024. He recorded two catches for 22 yards against the Los Angeles Chargers in the wild-card round.

The team is unlikely to bring him back in 2025 at 32.
