1. Kansas City Chiefs vs. Denver Broncos
The Kansas City Chiefs have secured the No. 1 seed in the AFC, so they'll likely rest most of their starters. However, the Denver Broncos must win the game to secure their spot in this year's playoffs.
Sean Payton's team enters the game with a 9-7 record, and it'll need a win to ensure its progress to the wildcard round. The Cincinnati Bengals and Miami Dolphins are hot on their heels for the seventh-seed slot.
2. Baltimore Ravens vs. Cleveland Browns
It's simple: The Lamar Jackson-led Baltimore Ravens need to beat the Cleveland Browns to secure the third seed in the AFC. The Ravens enter the game with an 11-5 record and are a game ahead of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Furthermore, the Ravens would love to snag the victory to boost Lamar Jackson's MVP chances.
3. Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cincinnati Bengals
The Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals have reasons to leave it all out on the Gridiron. The Steelers need a win to secure the third spot in the AFC, while the Bengals need to win to have a chance at sneaking into the playoffs.
The Steelers are 10-6, while the Bengals are 8-8. Hence, you can expect a tactical battle between Mike Tomlin and Zac Taylor.
4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. New Orleans Saints
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have their playoff destiny in their hands. All they need is a win against the eliminated New Orleans Saints, and they'll secure the NFC South.
A win will assure the Bucs of at least the No. 4 seed heading into the postseason. If the Los Angeles Rams lose on Sunday, they could even move up to No. 3.
5. Atlanta Falcons vs. Carolina Panthers
The Falcons must win and hope that the Buccaneers lose to the Saints to make the playoffs. Only then will a win against the since-eliminated Carolina Panthers have some significance.
6. Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington Commanders
A Washington win in Week 18 could help the team secure the No. 6 seed. Judging by how competitive the NFC is, seeding might go a long way in the race to the Super Bowl.
If the Commanders secure the sixth seed, they'll face the Los Angeles Rams, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, or Atlanta Falcons. However, the seventh seed will see them face the Philadelphia Eagles in the wildcard round.
7. Green Bay Packers vs. Chicago Bears
The Packers are in, while the Bears are out of the playoffs. However, a win in Week 18 could benefit Green Bay in terms of seeding.
Jordan Love and Co. will secure the sixth seed if they win and the Commanders lose. However, they'll be stuck on seventh if results don't go their way.
8. New England Patriots vs. Buffalo Bills
The Patriots must lose to stay with the No. 1 pick in next year's draft, while the Bills have nothing to play for. However, Sean McDermott might give Josh Allen a quick run-out to pad his MVP stats as he and Lamar Jackson remain in a neck-and-neck race.
9. New York Jets vs. Miami Dolphins
The Miami Dolphins need a win in this game, plus a Denver Broncos loss versus the Chiefs, to secure a wildcard spot in the playoffs. Hence, Mike McDaniel's side has everything to play for against the eliminated New York Jets.
10. Las Vegas Raiders vs. Los Angeles Chargers
The Los Angeles Chargers can earn the fifth seed in the AFC with a win, and the Steelers can lose. Hence, Jim Harbaugh's side will be fully motivated against an eliminated Las Vegas Raiders side.
11. Los Angeles Rams vs. Seattle Seahawks
The LA Rams could secure the third seed in the NFC with a win against the Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks are eliminated from the picture, and their only motivation might be to end the season with a win over their divisional rivals.
12. Detroit Lions vs. Minnesota Vikings
The Lions versus Vikings game is arguably the most significant in Week 18. It's simple: the winner is the NFC champ and earns a first-round bye, while the loser drops to the fifth seed.
