Full list of Tampa Bay Buccaneers free agents 2025 feat. Chris Godwin, Lavonte David and more

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will host the Washington Commanders in their NFC wild-card game on Sunday night. A Buccaneers defeat would eliminate them from the playoffs, and as things stand, several Tama Bay stars might play their last game for the team if they aren't given new contracts.

Here's a look at the full list of Tampa Bay players who will become free agents later this year, as per Over The Cap.

#1. Chris Godwin, WR

Godwin signed a three-year, $60 million contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in March 2022. He is in his final year of that deal and will be a free agent once the season ends.

#2. Lavonte David, LB

David signed a one-year, $8.5 million deal with Tampa Bay in March 2024. The linebacker's future after this season is unclear since he will be a free agent.

#3. Anthony Nelson, DE

Nelson signed a two-year, $10 million contract with the Buccaneers in 2023. He is in the final year of his deal and is heading toward free agency.

#4. Greg Gaines, IDL

Gaines put pen to paper on a one-year, $3.5 million contract with the Bucs in the 2024 offseason. The defensive lineman will enter the free agency after Tampa Bay's postseason.

#5. Ben Bredeson, LG

Bredeson inked a one-year, $3 million deal with the Buccaneers for the 2024 season. The guard is set to hit the free agency later this year.

#6. Joe Tryon-Shoyinka, DE

Tryon-Shoyinka signed a four-year, $11,171,237 rookie contract with the Bucs in 2021. He is in the final year of that deal and will enter the free agency after this season.

The Green Bay Packers released Newman in the 2024 offseason, and he was claimed off waivers by the Buccaneers on Aug. 28. He will be a free agent later this year.

#8. Chase Edmonds, RB

Edmonds re-signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on a one-year, $1.5 million contract in the 2024 offseason. He is going to be a free agent after this season.

Thomas signed a one-year, $1.5 million deal with Tampa Bay in 2024. The cornerback will be a free agent later this year.

Trask inked a four-year, $5,535,337 rookie contract with the Bucs in 2021. He is in the final year of that deal and will be a free agent in the 2025 offseason.

#11. William Gholston, IDL

Gholston put pen to paper on a one-year, $1,377,500 contract in the 2024 offseason. The defensive lineman's deal will end after this season, making him a free agent.

#12. Iosua Opeta, LG

Opeta signed a one-year, $1,375,000 deal with Tampa Bay in the 2024 offseason. He is set to enter the free agency market later in 2025.

Shepard signed a one-year, $1.21 million contract with the Bucs in June 2024. He will be a free agent after this season.

#14. Justin Skule, LT

Skule will enter the free agency in the 2025 offseason. He signed a one-year, $1,255,000 contract with Tampa Bay in 2024.

Hill signed a one-year, $1.21 million contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2024. He will be a free agent after Tampa Bay's postseason.

Hainsey inked a four-year, $4,806,372 deal with the Buccaneers in 2021. The right tackle is set to enter the free agency after this season.

#18. Bryce Hall, CB

Hall put pen to paper on a one-year, $1,125,000 contract with the Bucs in March 2024. He will be a free agent later in 2025.

#19. Mike Edwards, S

Edwards signed a one-year, $1,125,000 deal with the Tennessee Titans in the 2024 offseason. He was claimed off waivers by the Buccaneers in November and will be a free agent at the end of this season.

Neal inked a one-year, $985,000 contract with the Buccaneers for the 2024 season. The safety will enter the free agency after this season.

#21. Eric Banks, IDL

Banks is on a one-year, $985,000 deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that he signed in 2024. The defensive lineman is on course to enter the free agency market later this year.
