Gabe Davis played as a wide receiver for the Buffalo Bills in the National Football League since 2020. He was a household name with a surge in popularity following the 2022 season, consistently contributing to the team’s success as a wide receiver. At the start of the 2023 campaign, he was named as one of the Bills’ captains along with seven others. In March 2024, he was released by the team and has now signed a three-year deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars from the 2024 season onwards.

Davis began his football journey at Seminole High School in Sanford, Florida, where he played high school football. After completing high school, he dedicated himself to playing college football for the UCF Knights at the University of Central Florida (UCF). He played at UCF from 2017 to 2019, concluding his collegiate career with 152 receptions for 2,447 receiving yards and recording 23 touchdowns, earning several accolades.

Entering the 2020 NFL Draft, he embarked on his NFL journey with the Bills after being selected as the 128th overall pick in the fourth round. After getting drafted, he signed a four-year rookie contract valued at $3.99 million with the team.

Throughout his four-season stint, the 2022 season proved to be the highlight of his NFL career. He concluded the season with career highs, recording 836 receiving yards with 48 receptions and securing seven touchdowns in all 15 games. Furthermore, he recorded a 98-yard catch, tying the record for longest touchdown reception in franchise history.

During the 2020 NFL combine, Davis demonstrated speed and agility, recording a time of 4.54 seconds to complete the 40-yard dash. He also performed and recorded a vertical jump of 35 inches (0.89 meters) and a broad jump of 10 feet 4 inches (3.15 meters). These numbers are just a reflection of his athletic prowess. However, his exceptional ability to perform under intense pressure on the field, surely makes him one of the standout wide receivers in the league.

Interestingly, he has been nicknamed ‘Big-Game Gabe’ taking into account his outstanding performance during significant matches.
