One such move that took place was made by the Jacksonville Jaguars as they signed wide receiver Gabe Davis after he was let go by the Buffalo Bills.

Hailing from Florida, Davis was born in Fernandina Beach, Florida on April 1, 1999, and developed a passion for football while growing up. During his tenure at Seminole High School in Sanford, Florida, he played high school football for the team, dazzling everyone with his performance. His senior year performance earned him First-team Florida Class 8A All-State honors, recording 69 catches for 1,347 yards and 17 touchdowns.

After high school, he attended the University of Central Florida (UCF) and committed to playing college football for the UCF Knights. Similar to his high school career, his collegiate career was adorned with excellent performances and several achievements, including being named to the second-team All-ACC in 2018 and the first-team All-ACC in 2019. Concluding his collegiate career, he announced entering the 2020 NFL Draft. He was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the fourth round as the 128th overall pick.
