We are officially in Week 17 which means the fantasy football season is just about ready to come to a close. That said, there are still a few matchups we need to get through before the end of the year.
The Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos kicked things on last night in a stale 6-3 win for Seattle. Given they could not put on an exciting product under the bright lights of primetime football, the focus now shifts to teams like the New York Jets and Philadelphia Eagles to deliver the goods.
The Jets and the Eagles will suit up on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills and Dallas Cowboys respectively. Here's everything you need to know about Garrett Wilson and DeVonta Smith's fantasy outlooks before you make a decision on your lineups this week.

Garrett Wilson fantasy projection for Week 17
The headlines are always going to pounce on the Jets, such is the nature of New York media. That fact stood true when Garrett Wilson made his frustrations public over what he perceived as a lack of targets. While Aaron Rodgers did not quite share that view, the fact of the matter is that Wilson saw precious little action in the first half against the Los Angeles Rams.
All in all, Wilson caught 6-of-7 targets for 54 yards and couldn't find the end zone as Rodgers kept slinging it to Davante Adams instead. Through 17 weeks of action, this much is clear - the Jets want to see if they can make the Rodgers-Adams connection work. That puts Wilson in a tough spot.
DeVonta Smith fantasy projection for Week 17
We tapped Smith as a player to watch prior to the start of the season, given how the Eagles were diversifying their offense with Saquon Barkley. Most weeks, Smith looked like a world beater, forming the perfect 1-2 punch alongside A.J. Brown.
This week, however, there is a different problem altogether. In Week 16's nail-biting loss to the Washington Commanders, Jalen Hurts exited the game with a concussion and did not make his way back to the field. Hurts still hasn't suited up for practice and is currently tracking to sit out of Sunday's game against Dallas.
Smith caught 6-of-8 targets for 51 yards in that loss but backup quarterback Kenny Pickett was much more inclined to target A.J. Brown all afternoon. This Dallas defense also has the ability to lock down receivers and they have improved by leaps and bounds over the last few weeks.
At this point, it's basically a coin toss between the two given their respective situations. Both WRs sit in the same tier of being elite talents with sketchy QB situations. Our Start/Sit Tool has Wilson coming out on top in this contest with a projected total of 13 points (PPR) against the Bills with a fair shot at finding the end zone.
