The Pittsburgh Steelers have released two injury reports this week and provided an update on George Pickens' condition ahead of their Week 16 matchup with the Baltimore Ravens on Saturday afternoon.
The star wideout's status for Week 16 is still uncertain after he was declared DNP for practice on Tuesday and Wednesday. The team's final practice of the week is set for Thursday, and it will be crucial for Pickens' possible availability for the matchup with the Ravens.
Before suffering a hamstring injury, Pickens was enjoying an impressive campaign with the Steelers, hauling in 55 passes for 850 yards and three touchdowns. But since Week 13, when he collected three catches for 74 yards and one touchdown against the Cincinnati Bengals, he hasn't played.

On "The Pat McAfee Show" on Monday, ESPN's Adam Schefter gave injury updates on the Georgia alum, stating that there is concern that Pickens, who has already missed two games, may be forced to miss a little more time.
"The way I understood, somebody texted me earlier that George Pickens could have a Grade 2 hamstring injury," Schefter said. "If it is Grade 2 that’s like a month injury, usually. So, with these short games and him not practicing this past week, I think it’s fair to say, at the very least, that his status is in question for these upcoming games."
However, coach Mike Tomlin revealed on Monday that Pickens has not yet been ruled out and could play against Baltimore, which is encouraging news for Pittsburgh.
The game against the Ravens on Saturday is crucial because, even though the Steelers have already guaranteed a postseason berth, they still have their sights set on winning the AFC North. It's still uncertain if Pickens will play for Pittsburgh, but fans should anticipate a hard-fought, gritty game that is characteristic of the Steelers-Ravens history.
George Pickens injury update: What happened to the Steelers' WR?
The Pittsburgh Steelers already had issues at wide receiver this season due to a lack of reliable depth behind George Pickens. Pickens' hamstring ailment has made that worry even more prominent in recent weeks.
The former second-round pick first appeared on the team's injury list two days before the Week 14 matchup with the Cleveland Browns.
He received a questionable tag for the divisional match since he participated in a limited capacity in practice on that Friday. After completing pregame warm-ups, the coaches felt uneasy about using him to prevent his injury from getting worse.
Following previous reports that the 23-year-old wideout had a grade 2 hamstring strain that might keep him out of action for a few weeks, Mike Tomlin told reporters on Dec. 10 that an MRI showed Pickens' injury was more severe than first thought.
Since then, Pickens has since missed one more game in Week 15 against the Philadelphia Eagles.
